myRESEARCHnavigators make connections to facilitate effective startup and conduct of research

Presenters: The myRESEARCHnavigators Team, Duke Office of Research Initiatives

Description: When you get stuck navigating the processes, requirements and resources for conducting research at a large academic research institution, how do you find your way? Is there a centralized repository for guidance?  Is there someone that you call who can usually point you in the right direction? Just as the Intereach community is composed of people who connect across teams, disciplines and sectors, the myRESEARCHnavigators team seeks to connect Duke (and beyond!) researchers with the resources, collaborators, and appropriate contacts to successfully accomplish their research goals. The program launched in 2017 and features several projects designed to meet researchers where they are via multiple modalities. Join us on August 13th as we hear from this interdisciplinary team about the strategies and lessons-learned from navigating the complexities of academic research.
